A snapshot picture originally extracted from South Helwan Project 3D model, was augmented with a real picture from the STG Hall of Unit1 from the site and processed by the lately formed “Rendering and Physical Modeling Group” using SmartPlant Review. The image presents the visually complexity of the critical piping work in the STG Operating Floor, showing main equipment like the Steam Turbine and Generator, feed-water heaters, ventilation fans, etc. The award was in the Visually Complex section. PGESCo was the only company from Middle East and Africa to win in this competition, after Indonesia and India, China. See below pictures of the winning picture and award’s plaque.
